Your primary responsibility will be to assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3 to 5 years old.
EYFS Teaching Assistant - Job Responsibilities:
- Support Learning: Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and implement engaging EYFS curriculum activities that promote holistic development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and physical skills.
- Provide Individualised Attention: Recognise and respond to the diverse needs of each child, offering one-on-one support and encouragement to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
- Facilitate Play-Based Learning: Create opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and learn through play, fostering their curiosity and creativity in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Promote Positive Relationships: Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of belonging and trust within the school community.
- Assist with Assessment: Support the assessment process by observing and recording children's progress, contributing valuable insights to inform ongoing planning and evaluation.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Uphold high standards of health, safety, and hygiene, ensuring the well-being of all children in your care at all times.
