Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate? Are you keen to explore further ambitions to teach Maths, and would you like to teach Maths to GCSE students in a school environment?

 

Ribbons & Reeves are working with an amazing school in the Greenwich area that are Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and looking for a new Maths Graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant.

 

Maths Graduate | The Role

 

  • 25,000 per year pro rata to term time only.
  • Opportunities to gain experience in a school setting and join the school’s teacher training programme.
  • Work with willing-to-learn students that have high ambitions and aim for top 10 UK Universities.
  • Join a truly exceptional family-orientated team that have built a supportive and happy environment for teachers and students alike.
  • September start for the Maths Graduate role, Full-time contract until July 2025.

 

Maths Graduate | Personal Specification

 

  • Have achieved or are on track to receiving a 2:1 or 1st Class Maths-based degree.
  • A strong intent to teach the same passion for Maths that you have.
  • A Maths Graduate that is looking to train their way into becoming a Maths teacher in future years.
  • Previous volunteer experience with children is highly sought after.

 

This Maths Graduate position is available for a one academic year (September through to July). Pending a successful year as a Maths Graduate, the school can enrol you to train as a fully qualified Maths Teacher via SCITT.
