- Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant
- Ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists
- One-on-one support to SEN children
- Work with children presenting with Autism, Global Delay, and Speech & Language difficulties
- One-year contract from September to July, term time only, £475 to £550 per week (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
We are seeking a Psychology graduate wanting to acquire more child-centred experience, particularly with vulnerable children requiring additional support.
In your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with children who are considered vulnerable. These children typically have Autism statements and may be non-verbal, necessitating prior experience in supporting such individuals.
Psychology graduates will benefit from comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities offered by the school. Both internal and external training sessions are regularly conducted, including specialized manual handling training such as 'Team Teach' to equip you for challenging scenarios that may arise while working with vulnerable SEN children.
