SEN Teacher – Southwark – January Start

Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher with a passion for making a positive impact on young lives?

We are seeking an inspiring and committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Southwark. This unique role involves working in a creative and supportive environment, focused on supporting children with Autism and Social Communication difficulties, as well as additional needs such as Speech and Language, Global Delay, and complex learning needs.

SEN Teacher | Southwark | Role Overview:

  • Teach a mixed class of 8 children in Year 4 and Year 5 with Autism
  • Lead a team of three Teaching Assistants to provide focused and personalised support
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to each child’s development
  • Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to develop students’ skills and well-being
  • Make a positive impact on children’s academic and social progress, encouraging confidence and independence
  • Supportive school committed to fostering each child’s growth and development

 

SEN Teacher | Southwark | Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN Teaching
  • Compassionate and patient individual with a strong understanding of Autism and communication needs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
