Role Responsibilities – English Graduate:
- Assist in English lessons, providing support to GCSE and A-Level students
- Work closely with Secondary Class Teachers to deliver engaging, tailored lessons
- Deliver 1:1 and group sessions to enhance student understanding and confidence
- Help manage and regulate behaviour, maintaining a conducive learning environment
- Develop key skills and experience needed to progress towards Qualified Teacher Status
Requirements – English Graduate:
- Minimum 2:1 English degree from a top 20 UK university
- Previous experience working with young people, ideally in tutoring or child-centred roles
- A genuine passion for working with diverse students, helping them excel academically
- Excellent communication and listening skills to support students effectively
Role Details:
- Location: Waltham Forest, London
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2025
- Pay: £95-£100 per day (via PAYE, including holiday pay)
