Behaviour Mentor | Waltham Forest
Do you have extensive experience working with children and being involved in challenging behaviour management?
Are you a top graduate seeking experience within a school as a Behaviour Mentor?
Sounds like you? A school based in Waltham Forest is on the hunt for a confident and resilient individual to take on a rewarding role working on a 1:1 basis with a learner in pupil who has Autism and ADHD as a Behaviour Mentor.
Behaviour Mentor | The role:
- Assist with the provision of support for an individual student with social, emotional and/or behaviour difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- Develop 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified pupil.
- Work alongside teachers and SLT to promote the effective use of behaviour management strategies.
- Pay of up to £95 per day via PAYE (weekly pay).
Behaviour Mentor | Do you qualify?
- Must have previous experience with children who have additional learning needs in a school setting.
- Degree educated, with a minimum of a 2:1.
- Confident dealing with resistant behaviour.
- Strong communication skills and patience.
This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get into Psychology, and looking to further their experience with children who display SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs and/or resistant behaviour as a Behaviour Mentor!
