SEMH Support Assistant | Job Summary

  • Full-time term time only SEMH Support Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025
  • Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • First-Class or 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • Previous experience in SEMH/SEND support is essential 

 

SEMH Support Assistant | Job Role

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them reengage with lessons and school life
  • Help students build emotional resilience, improve behaviour, and develop positive social interactions
  • Assist the class teachers with students with SEMH/SEND needs, providing tailored support to meet their individual requirements
  • Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students, encouraging respect, responsibility, and self-regulation.
