We are looking to appoint an outstanding and experienced SENCO to lead the Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision at a vibrant primary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated SENCO to drive inclusive education and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with additional needs.

 

As SENCO, you will take a strategic and operational lead in developing SEND practices across the school, ensuring that every child achieves their full potential. You’ll work closely with staff, parents/carers and external agencies to deliver high-quality support and interventions tailored to individual needs.

SENCO | Job Description

  • Lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision in the school.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school’s SEN policy and ensure the effective provision for pupils with additional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide targeted support for SEN pupils.
  • Provide professional guidance to staff, promoting high-quality teaching and inclusive education across the school.
  • Oversee the school’s SEN Information Report, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
