Primary SEN Teacher – Role Overview:

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be supporting KS3 Secondary SEN students who are currently working at a KS1/2 level. You’ll play a vital role in adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs and ensuring all students thrive in an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Primary SEN Teacher:

• Teach and support KS3 SEND students in both 1:1 and small group settings
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs
• Work closely with the SENDCo and other Class Teachers to create tailored learning experiences
• Ensure a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Relevant Degree from a top 20 UK University and a PGCE with QTS
• Passion for teaching and developing strategies for SEND students
• Proven experience as a Primary SEN Teacher, ideally in a primary setting with SEN experience

Role Specifics:

• Location: Chingford, Waltham Forest, London
• Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, initially for 6 weeks with the potential for a long-term role
• Start Date: 24th February 2025
• Pay: MPS/UPS Main Pay Scale (Outer London) daily rate via PAYE
