Geography Teacher - NW10, Brent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Geography Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school located in NW10, Brent. This full-time, permanent Geography Teacher role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are ready to inspire students and raise attainment through high-quality teaching and learning.
The appointed Geography Teacher will deliver a broad, balanced, and stimulating Geography curriculum that encourages students to explore the world around them while achieving their academic potential. As a Geography Teacher, you will also take on form tutor responsibilities and play a key role in students' personal and academic growth.
Geography Teacher – Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages
- Support curriculum planning, resource development and departmental improvement
- Contribute to raising standards of student achievement and progression
- Take an active role in quality assurance and monitoring of the subject area
- Maintain accurate student records and track academic progress
- Engage with parents and carers to support student development
- Participate in performance review and ongoing CPD opportunities
- Provide pastoral support as a form tutor
- Play a full and active role in the school’s wider community
- Uphold and promote the values and ethos of the school
