Learning Support Assistant - Belsize Park, Camden


Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)

Are you a recent Psychology graduate from a top UK university, eager to gain practical experience in the mental health or education sector?

 

Join a committed team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) at a well-regarded all-boys middle school in Belsize Park, Camden, working exclusively with students aged 11-13. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the academic and emotional development of young learners, many of whom have needs such as ADHD, Autism and other SEND profiles.

 

You will support pupils in both mainstream classrooms and bespoke 1:1 sessions, under the guidance of a qualified SENDCo who is also a trained therapist and psychologist. This setting offers you an invaluable foundation in educational psychology and inclusive practice, working alongside like-minded graduates on a structured, rewarding year-long paid placement.

 

Each year, the successful LSA team members go on to secure places on competitive Master’s courses or take the next step into careers across the mental health and education sectors. This role is the perfect springboard to make that happen.

 

Learning Support Assistant - Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology or related field
  • Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Commitment to the full academic year (term-time only)
  • Hard working, dynamic personality that will work well as part of a large team
