Psychology Graduate (Mental Health Support Assistant) | Key Information
- £20,000 starting salary | £100+ per day | £500+ per week | Paid on a PAYE basis
- Full-time, term-time role for the full academic year
- Supporting pupils aged 11-16 with Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs
- Located in Mitcham with excellent public transport links
- Ideal for Psychology Graduates (2:2 or above) with long-term career ambitions in mental health or education
- Contract extensions and permanent roles available from September 2026
Psychology Graduate (Mental Health Support Assistant) | What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support to children who need extra support
- Helping students overcome emotional and behavioural barriers to learning
- Supporting the planning and delivery of bespoke learning activities
- Tracking progress and contributing to assessments
- Building positive relationships with students and families
