Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

A top-performing secondary school in Richmond is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons. This Science Graduate Teaching Assistant role offers hands-on experience in labs and classrooms, making it ideal for aspiring science teachers or those interested in STEM education.
As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll assist with setting up experiments, supervising practical work, and providing targeted help in lessons and after-school revision. You’ll also mentor KS3 pupils who are developing their curiosity in STEM subjects.
Science Graduate Teaching Assistant – Key Duties:
- Support practical science lessons in labs across KS3 and KS4
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students needing extra help
- Help maintain lab equipment and prepare materials for experiments
- Inspire students through STEM activities and enrichment clubs
We’re looking for:
- A recent Science graduate (Biology, Chemistry or Physics, 2:1 or above)
- Someone proactive, organised and confident in a lab environment
- A passion for education and helping young people succeed
- Full availability from September 2025
