Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

A well-regarded secondary school in Wandsworth is hiring a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to support their Humanities department from September. This Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant role involves assisting with classwork, preparing fieldwork resources, and mentoring students working toward their GCSEs and A-Levels.
As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with pupils from KS3 to KS5, helping them explore topics such as climate change, global development, and human geography. You’ll also play a key role in planning trips and activities that bring Geography learning to life.
Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant – Key Duties:
- Support Geography lessons with in-class guidance and materials prep
- Lead small group revision sessions for exam prep and coursework
- Assist with planning and organising Geography fieldwork and trips
- Help design engaging resources and classroom displays
We’re looking for:
- A recent Geography graduate (2:1 or above)
- Someone enthusiastic about Geography and working with young people
- A team player with great communication skills
- Full availability from September 2025
