Science Graduate | Greenwich

Are you a First-Class Science Graduate from a Top UK University considering a career in teaching as a Science Academic Mentor?

We are working with a great Secondary School in Greenwich who are looking for an ambitious Science graduate who is eager to gain teaching experience as a Science Academic Mentor.

You will be responsible for assisting KS3-KS45students, providing 1:1 and academic support in multiple KS3-KS5 scenarios and run group sessions for those who need it most.

• Science Graduate
• Term time work only
• Assisting with delivering engaging and interactive lessons to young learners.
• Collaborating with and following guidance of SLT members
• £444 (inclusive of holiday pay) – Paid weekly via PAYE
• Secondary School in Greenwich, Southeast London
• Science Graduate role starting September 2025.

This Science Graduate role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain experience in school-based environments before taking Teacher Training.

This Science Graduate role will provide you with essential paid experience to extend your teaching experience and professional development in aiding students.

What do I need to become a Science Academic Mentor?

• Obtained a degree in Science Degree from a Russell Group University
• Has previous experience and enthusiasm for working with children (preferred)
• Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills, patience and resilience
