This innovative East London school specialises in Creative, Media, and Digital Education, offering a vibrant and inclusive environment where students and staff are encouraged to thrive. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
Your Key Responsibilities as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide academic and emotional support to students with SEND
- Adapt classroom materials to suit diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists as the SEND Teaching Assistant
- Track student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents
We’re Looking for in a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- A 1st Class Psychology Graduate from a top UK university
- A genuine passion for SEN and child development
- Strong communication, resilience, and empathy
- Previous experience with children or young people is a bonus
