We are looking for a SEMH Specialists to join our dedicated team and work directly with pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This classroom-based role is your opportunity to make a real difference, providing consistent emotional and behavioural support in a nurturing educational environment.
SEMH Specialist | What You’ll Be Doing:
- Offering tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs within a primary classroom setting.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive choices and self-regulation.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their emotional and social development.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
- Monitoring progress and adapting interventions to meet individual needs.
SEMH Specialist | Who We’re Looking For:
- A First-Class Honours degree in a relevant subject
- A strong understanding of the challenges facing children with SEMH needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
