Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A well-regarded primary school in Richmond is looking for an EYFS Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This EYFS Assistant role will see you supporting children aged 3–5 in a Reception or Nursery class, helping them to feel secure, confident and ready to learn. As an EYFS Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering engaging activities, supporting personal development and promoting strong early learning foundations.
This EYFS Assistant role is ideal for a graduate interested in early years education, speech and language development or child psychology.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
- Assisting with phonics, play-based learning and routines
- Encouraging language, communication and social development
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education or a related subject
- A passion for Early Years development
- Strong communication skills and a caring nature
- A full-time commitment for the academic year
