Aspiring Teacher – Primary | Westminster | September 2025 Start

Are you a recent graduate from a Top 20 UK university with strong A-Level results and a passion for working with children?

Step into the classroom this September 2025 as an Aspiring Teacher in a Primary school in Westminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid, practical experience in education before committing to teacher training or a PGCE.

We're looking for enthusiastic and committed graduates to support children aged 4–11 in building key foundational skills for life.

Aspiring Teacher – The Role

As an Aspiring Teacher in a primary setting, you will:

  • Support class teachers across Early Years, KS1 or KS2, depending on your strengths and interests
  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce core subjects such as Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths
  • Assist with lesson planning, classroom organisation, and pastoral care
  • Help prepare learning materials and contribute to creating a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils with additional needs through targeted interventions

This full-time role is ideal for graduates exploring a long-term career in primary teaching.

What We’re Looking For in an Aspiring Teacher

  • A 2:1 degree or higher from a Top 20 UK university
  • AAB or higher at A-Level
  • A passion for education and supporting children’s development
  • Strong communication, patience, and empathy
  • A proactive and committed approach to life in the classroom

Why Become an Aspiring Teacher With Us?

  • £450–£525 per week (PAYE) – depending on experience and school
  • Build invaluable classroom experience in a vibrant and inclusive primary school
  • Receive mentorship and support from experienced primary teachers
  • Develop skills in behaviour management, early learning pedagogy, and child development
  • Join a graduate network of fellow Aspiring Teachers with similar goals
  • A strong stepping stone towards a PGCE or teacher training programme

As an Aspiring Teacher, you'll gain the confidence, tools, and insight you need to make an informed and successful transition into the teaching profession.

If you’re excited by the idea of making a lasting impact in a primary classroom and starting a meaningful career in education, apply today to become an Aspiring Teacher in Westminster this September.

Let me know if you’d like a version that highlights Early Years or KS2 more specifically or includes a reference to SEN support.
