Learning Support Assistant – Role and Requirements:

  • Support students aged 16-19 with additional learning needs, in both one-to-one and small group settings

  • Use your Health and Social Care knowledge to understand and respond to students’ developmental needs

  • Collaborate with subject teachers and the SEN department to deliver targeted support

  • Help students build confidence, develop independence, and access the curriculum effectively

  • Health and Social Care degree ideal; Level 3 BTEC in Health and Social Care essential

  • Must have prior experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care setting

  • Proactive, calm and adaptable Learning Support Assistant who aligns with the school's inclusive values
