To be successful as an MFL Support Assistant, you will need:

  • A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in Modern Foreign Languages from a top 20 UK university

  • Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting SEND pupils

  • A proactive and creative approach to learning support

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team

  • A keen interest in student progress and curriculum delivery

  • Experience or interest in leading small groups of high-attaining pupils

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when liaising with parents and staff

 

As an MFL Support Assistant, you will work within a large and well-resourced department, focusing on the progress and attainment of pupils across KS3 and KS4. You’ll assist with curriculum delivery, lead focused group sessions, and help create an engaging learning environment for language learners.
