Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A specialist SEND school in Wandsworth is looking for an Autism Support Worker to work 1:1 with pupils diagnosed with ASC. This Autism Support Worker role is perfect for graduates with an interest in psychology, speech and language, or SEND education.
As an Autism Support Worker, you’ll support children across primary and secondary phases, using visual aids, PECS, and sensory regulation tools. You’ll play a vital role in helping students feel safe, supported and engaged in their learning.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism
- Adapting learning materials to suit sensory and communication needs
- Using strategies like PECS and visual timetables
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education or a related subject
- Some experience with SEND, autism or youth work
- A compassionate and patient nature
- A genuine desire to work in specialist education
