Are you a Psychology graduate with a strong interest in autism, ADHD, and inclusive education? Do you want to build a career in SEN, educational psychology, or mental health? We’re working with Whatley Campus, a specialist school for students aged 9–16 with complex needs, to recruit a compassionate and resilient ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, long-term position and a fantastic chance for a graduate looking to launch a career in child development, teaching, or therapy.

What you can expect as an ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant:

Your role as an ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant will involve:

  • Supporting the learning, emotional regulation and wellbeing of pupils with ASC and ADHD

  • Creating a consistent and structured learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with the SEN team to deliver therapeutic and academic support

  • Monitoring and adjusting your approach to meet individual needs

We are looking for a Psychology graduate who:

  • Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology or a related field

  • Has a genuine passion for supporting neurodiverse learners

  • Is patient, calm, and committed to inclusive education

  • Works well in a team and communicates clearly with staff and students

  • Is ready to take on the challenge and reward of an ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant role
