We are currently recruiting a dedicated and empathetic ASC Support Assistant to join specialist SEN settings across Camden. These schools are committed to nurturing pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ensuring they receive tailored academic and emotional support.

What are we looking for in an ASC Support Assistant?

  • A 2:1 or above Psychology degree (or a closely related subject)
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level grades
  • Prior experience working with children with SEN, especially ASC, is highly desirable
  • A calm, compassionate, and committed approach to working with neurodiverse learners
  • Willingness to work as part of a team of professionals, including therapists and SENCOs

As an ASC Support Assistant, you’ll support pupils across various stages of development in a structured and supportive learning environment. These SEN Schools in Camden are equipped with excellent facilities, allowing the ASC Support Assistant to help students access the curriculum in creative and engaging ways.

This ASC Support Assistant role is ideal for graduates who are considering a long-term career in educational psychology, specialist teaching, speech and language therapy, or SEN support work.

By working as an ASC Support Assistant, you will gain essential experience with evidence-based interventions, communication strategies (such as PECS or Makaton), and sensory integration techniques.
