Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate passionate about mental health and behaviour in children? A warm and inclusive school in Croydon is looking for a dedicated SEMH Support to join their team.
As a SEMH Support, you’ll work closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs—making this the perfect role for graduates aiming to pursue careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Therapy or SEN education.
What you’ll be doing as an SEMH Support:

Supporting autistic pupils and those with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis

Delivering interventions to help pupils regulate emotions, build communication, and engage with learning

Assisting with behaviour support plans and creating consistent, structured routines

Building trusting relationships with pupils while promoting emotional wellbeing

Collaborating with SEN professionals, teachers, and families as a valued SEMH Support
We’re looking for an SEMH Support who:

Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology or Criminology from a Top 20 UK University

Has a genuine passion for mental health, behaviour support, and neurodiversity

Brings empathy, resilience, and calm to their role as an SEMH Support

Has relevant experience working with children or young people

Can commit full-time from September 2025 to July 2026
