Maths Graduate – Wandsworth – November 2025 Start

 

Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: November 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: Minimum £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you a Maths Graduate looking for your first opportunity to gain practical experience in a school setting?

 

This Maths Graduate role is ideal for graduates keen to support pupils’ learning and build confidence in mathematics. As a Maths Graduate, you will work closely with teaching staff to support classroom lessons, small group interventions, and 1:1 support.

 

In this Maths Graduate role provides valuable insight into how schools operate and how to deliver effective learning support, making it perfect for anyone planning a future career in teaching, tutoring, or other education-focused roles.

 

The Maths Graduate position is suitable for recent graduates with a degree in Maths or a related subject who are enthusiastic about helping pupils develop numeracy and problem-solving skills. Some experience with tutoring, mentoring, or supporting children’s learning is highly desirable. In this Maths Graduate role, you will assist with lesson activities, support pupils individually and in small groups, and help develop their confidence and independence in maths.

 

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support in maths lessons
  • Assist with lesson preparation, activities, and targeted learning tasks
  • Support pupils to develop problem-solving, numeracy, and confidence skills
  • Work alongside teaching staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Hours: 08:30–15:30 with a 30-minute break

 

We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Maths or a related subject
  • Patient, motivated, and enthusiastic about supporting pupils
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Some experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with children is desirable
  • Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one
