Aspiring Educational Psychologist
Location: Barnet, North London
Pay: £105 to £110 per day (PAYE)

Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist seeking practical, long-term experience in a secondary school before progressing into further training or postgraduate study?
An all-boys secondary school in Barnet is looking to appoint an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with additional learning, behavioural and emotional needs both in and out of the classroom.
Aspiring Educational Psychologist – The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support to boys who require additional academic or pastoral support

Work closely with pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs across KS3 and KS4

Support teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour management and classroom engagement

Build positive, professional relationships to help pupils remain focused and motivated

Gain hands-on experience working alongside the SENCO, pastoral teams and external specialists
Aspiring Educational Psychologist – Ideal Candidate

A graduate with a Psychology or related degree

A clear interest in progressing into Educational Psychology, SEN or Child Psychology

Confident, resilient and able to work effectively with secondary-aged boys

Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential

Able to commit to a full-time role for the academic year
