Physics / Maths Graduate – Learning Support Assistant - Kensington & Chelsea – ASAP Start
Are you a Physics or Maths Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting students in a Sixth Form environment?
An inclusive Sixth Form in Kensington & Chelsea is looking for a numerate and adaptable graduate to support students aged 16–19 with SEND across Physics and Maths.
The role requires someone with strong Physics knowledge who is also comfortable adapting their approach to support students at different levels, including GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths.

Role and Responsibilities
- Support students with Physics and Maths in 1:1 and small-group settings
- Provide subject-specific support to students studying Physics
- Support students working towards GCSE and Functional Skills Maths
- Break down complex topics into clear, accessible explanations
- Adapt your teaching and communication style to different ability levels
- Help students develop confidence and independence in numeracy and problem-solving
Person Specification
- Degree in Physics, Maths, Engineering or a closely related STEM subject
- Strong Physics and Maths knowledge
- Comfortable supporting students from Functional Skills/GCSE through to more advanced study
- Able to adapt explanations to suit different learning needs
- Patient, approachable and confident working with young people
- Interest in SEND and education
