Are you a Level 3-qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant looking to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Thurrock?

 

We are working with a Good-rated primary school seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant to become part of a diverse and inclusive school community committed to helping children become confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners.

 

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. The successful Nursery Teaching Assistant will help create an engaging, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

 

The role of Nursery Teaching Assistant will involve:

  • Supporting children aged 3-4 throughout the Nursery setting
  • Working alongside the teacher as a proactive Nursery TEACHING ASSISTANT
  • Supporting engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional and communication development
  • Promoting positive behaviour and independence
  • Creating a safe and inclusive environment as a Nursery TEACHING ASSISTANT
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider school team

 

The successful Nursery Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years or Nursery setting
  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for Early Years education
  • A commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing
