Are a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting vulnerable students?

 

Ribbons & Reeves are currently in contact with a Secondary SEN School that is actively seeking a Psychology Graduate to support teenagers in key stage 3 and 4 with Special Educational Needs. The school specialises in severe ASD and ADHD who need help with their academic engagement and personal growth.

 

Psychology Graduate | About the School:

  • Has been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) and recognised as a Centre of Excellence award
  • Experienced SEN Professionals and Educational Psychologists on-site
  • Holistic approach to teaching
  • Adopts a tailored method of teaching to support each individual student with special needs

 

Psychology Graduate | Job Summary:

  • Support teenagers in Key Stage 3 and 4 with severe ASD and ADHD
  • Significantly improve student’s academic engagement and help regulate negative emotions they can experience
  • Closely keep an eye on each student’s improvement and report to the SENDCO team about their progress
  • Full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • Earn up to £470 per week on PAYE basis

 

Psychology Graduate | About You:

  • Graduated with minimum 2:1 in Psychology from a Top 30 UK University
  • Work experience supporting vulnerable students is desired
  • You are passionate about providing support to students with SEN
  • You are looking to gain hands-on experience to aid your aspirational goals of becoming an educational or clinical psychologist
  • You are patient, caring and compassionate
