We are searching for an experienced School Data Manager to join a vibrant and inclusive school community, where students and staff from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds thrive. The school based in Central London, is undergoing a journey of rapid improvement. The successful School Data Manager candidate will be spearheading this transformational phase. School Data Manager Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the school's management information systems.
  • Managing assessment/exams, reporting, and data systems.
  • Conducting analysis of assessments/exams using tools like SISRA and ALPS.
  • Setting and monitoring student target grades.
  • Handling Year 7 transition data.
  • Managing student and workforce censuses.
  • Assisting in the creation of the school timetable, curriculum modelling, and options processes.
  • Generating periodic reports on behaviour, staff absence, attendance, and cover.
  • Serving as the data protection officer and managing subject access requests.
  • Ensuring accurate data reporting to the Department for Education.
  • Supervising the exams officer.
  • Providing training to staff on data usage and reporting systems.
  • Undertaking other data-related tasks as required.

 

School Data Manager Role

  • Salary: £40,000-£50,000
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time, September start

 

School Data Manager Requirements:

  • Proficiency in various ICT packages.
  • Familiarity with Bromcom systems, including timetable groups, assessment modules, and report generation.
  • Experience with academy census procedures.
  • Knowledge of assessment policies and procedures.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Prior experience in an inner-city school environment.
  • Proficiency in creating accurate reports on student data for senior management.
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines and targets.
  • Experience in developing policies, processes, and procedures.
