SEMH Teaching Assistant | Havering
Are you an aspiring Educational/Clinical Psychologist looking to gain some experience working in a classroom with children who have SEMH needs as an SEMH Teaching Assistant?
If so, Ribbons & Reeves are working with a thriving Primary School in Hornchurch who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with their learners who have SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs.
SEMH Teaching Assistant | What will you be doing?
- Working on a 1:1 basis or with a small group of children who need extra emotional support.
- Implement agreed work programmes to ensure the correct support is being given.
- Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development.
SEMH Teaching Assistant | What do we need from you?
- Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree (ideally in Psychology) from a Top 30 UK University.
- Some previous experience working with children.
- Strong career goals to become a Psychologist/Therapist.
- Passionate about making a positive impact to children’s lives.
- Excellent communication skills, resilience, and patience.
