If so… one of our lovely Camden based client schools are looking for an Autism Support Assistant to play a key role in the academic development and in-school engagement of one of their students - sound good...?

 

Autism Support Assistant | Job Description:

 

  • Develop and prepare materials designed to inspire individual learning
  • Keep written records of pupil observations, and feed back to parents
  • Carrying out general TA responsibilities in class where required
  • Work under supervision of the school SENCo and various Class Teachers
  • Provide effective support to this student, helping to build social confidence and academic engagement!
  • This Autism Support Assistant role will include extensive in house and external training, designed to further develop your skill set
  • Role starting in September until July 2025 (opportunities to stay on after this are available)
  • £500 - £530 per week

 

Autism Support Assistant | Person Specification:

 

  • Hold Psychology or related degree from Top 20 UK University
  • Experience working with children is desirable but not required
  • Patient, calming manner with ability to support others
