The Role
The pupils in question, in Key Stage 2, display disruptive (non-violent) behaviour within class, so as a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to support them in their learning, help offer stability in class, and ensure the environment is as engaging as possible! Work alongside the Key Stage 2 Teaching team and the school SENCo to plan and prepare engaging, fun sessions, and help these particular students to integrate, develop social skills, and of course their academic levels.
Ideally, you must;
- Have previous experience working in a Primary setting
- Be a team player
- Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your work
- Have the ability and attitude needed to effectively manage challenging behaviour
