I’m working with a high-achieving Secondary School in Tower Hamlets seeking a Maths Academic Mentor to join their team and support students in preparation for their exams.

  

Maths Academic Mentor | Job Summary

  • Full-time term time only Maths Academic Mentor role | Long term contract until July 2025
  • Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • Ideal role for an aspiring Teacher keen to gain some hands-on experience.
  • First-Class Mathematics related degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • Child centered experience is desirable preferably tutoring

 

Maths Academic Mentor | Job Role

  • Working 1:1 and with small groups of students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Receive mentorship from outstanding Maths Teachers and Lead Practitioners
  • Comfortable supporting students in Maths up to A-Level with tailored interventions to prepare them for exams
  • Work on increasing school attainment across the whole school
  • Assisting in planning and delivering engaging lesson content and identifying areas where students require extra help.
