Behaviour Support Assistant | Kingston-upon-Thames | ASAP Start

 

Are you a capable Behaviour Support Assistant in search of your next opportunity? Do you have a passion for inclusive education and a desire to develop your skills and experience in supporting children with additional needs?

 

At Ribbons & Reeves, we are looking for motivated graduates who are eager to work with primary-aged children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

 

We are collaborating with mainstream Primary Schools in Kingston, all of which have a need for additional Behaviour Support, and we are excited to help you find the perfect role.

 

Behaviour Support Assistant | About the Role:

  • £480-500 per week | Paid weekly via PAYE | Inclusive of Holiday Pay
  • Term-time only
  • Ideal for individuals aiming to gain experience in SEND settings to further their careers, particularly for those planning to pursue a Master's or Doctorate
  • Supporting inclusive learning by addressing the needs of children with SEMH and EHCPs
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with children with SEMH needs
  • Collaborating with the faculty, SENDCo, and SEN professionals to support the holistic development of students
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all children

 

Behaviour Support Assistant | What You Need:

  • A First-Class Degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • A strong desire to apply yourself fully and learn on the job
  • A passion for working with children and helping those with additional learning needs
  • Resilience, determination, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference
  • Experience working with SEND children or those with Behavioural Difficulties is highly beneficial, but not essential
  • An interest in pursuing a career in education in the future is desirable
