We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive, high-achieving school in Havering this September. Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting class teachers and working closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis

Leading lessons under the guidance of teaching staff

Focusing on pupil progress and attainment

Communicating effectively with parents and carers

Following the national curriculum with confidence and creativity

Supporting SEND pupils with a flexible and proactive approach

Being a valued team player in a close-knit school community

Developing your teaching skills with the potential to undertake teacher training

Contributing to behaviour management strategies

Working as a Primary Teaching Assistant in a rewarding, full-time, term-time only role
Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

A Science degree from a top 20 UK university

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable

Confidence in behaviour management and SEND support

A proactive and adaptive approach to daily tasks

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Passionate about education and working with children in Havering
