Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)

A well-regarded secondary school in Richmond is seeking a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Humanities department.
As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with pupils in KS3 and KS4, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. You’ll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in subjects like Geography, History, and RE.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing in-class support in Geography and wider Humanities
- Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
- Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
- Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds
This role is ideal for aspiring Geography teachers or those interested in education, youth work, or social research.
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Geography or related field
- A genuine interest in education and social development
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Commitment from September 2025 to July 2026
