Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)

A secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the school’s SEN and pastoral teams, supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis. This includes helping pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and confidence building.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Assisting with wellbeing interventions and mentoring programmes
- Working alongside the SENDCo and external professionals
- Helping staff maintain a calm, structured learning environment
This role suits Psychology graduates interested in teaching, counselling, or clinical psychology.
We’re looking for:
- A strong degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)
- A compassionate, resilient, and proactive mindset
- An interest in behaviour, mental health, or educational psychology
- Full availability from September 2025 – July 2026
