History Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary – Hounslow – September 2025 Start

Are you a History Graduate Teaching Assistant interested in supporting secondary pupils’ learning and understanding of the past?

We are looking for a committed History Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Hounslow from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a History Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions, and help pupils improve historical knowledge, critical thinking, and essay writing skills.

As a History Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to assist in lesson delivery, track pupil progress, and create engaging resources. You will support pupils with additional needs, promote confidence, and help with exam preparation. This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training, further study, or careers in education. You will gain first-hand experience of classroom management and learn how to adapt teaching approaches to meet varied pupil needs.

History Graduate Teaching Assistant | Essential Requirements:

• UK undergraduate degree in History or a related subject.
• Experience supporting children or young people in education or tutoring settings.

• Location: Hounslow, West London
• Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
• Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
• Interviews: September/October 2025
