Are you an English Literature Graduate Learning Mentor looking to support secondary pupils’ reading, writing, and comprehension skills?
We are seeking a motivated English Literature Graduate Learning Mentor to join a secondary school in Richmond from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English Literature Graduate Learning Mentor to provide lesson support, deliver small group interventions, and help pupils develop literacy, critical thinking, and confidence in expressing ideas in writing and discussion.
As an English Literature Graduate Learning Mentor, you will assist teachers in lesson delivery, track pupil progress, and prepare engaging resources. You will support pupils with additional needs, help with exam preparation, and build strong classroom management skills. This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training, further study in English, or careers in education. You will gain experience in adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse pupil needs and develop practical skills for classroom environments.
English Literature Graduate Learning Mentor | Essential Requirements:
- UK undergraduate degree in English Literature or a related subject.
- Experience supporting children or young people in education.
English Literature Graduate Learning Mentor | Job Details:
- Location: Richmond, South West London
- Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
- Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
- Interviews: September/October 2025
