Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary – Wandsworth – September 2025 Start

Are you a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to support secondary pupils’ learning in physical and human geography?

We are seeking a dedicated Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Wandsworth from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions, and help pupils improve map skills, environmental knowledge, and geographical analysis.

As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support lesson delivery, run small group sessions, and provide additional guidance for pupils who need extra help. You will assist with practical lessons, track pupil progress, and help students prepare for assessments. This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training, further study in geography, or careers in education. You will gain valuable classroom experience and develop skills in supporting pupils with different learning needs.

Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant | Essential Requirements:

• UK undergraduate degree in Geography or a related subject.
• Experience supporting children or young people in educational settings.

Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant | Job Details:

• Location: Wandsworth, South West London
• Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
• Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
• Interviews: September/October 2025
