SEN Teaching Assistant – What the Role Involves
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support for students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH) in mainstream or designated settings

- Working under the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers to implement personalised learning plans
SEN Teaching Assistant – What the School is Looking For
We’re seeking proactive, compassionate, and committed individuals with strong communication skills and a real desire to learn. Applicants must hold a 2:1 or First-class degree in English (or related) from a top 30 UK university and have evaluable child-centred experience. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
SEN Teaching Assistant – Salary and Contract Info
- General TA / SEN TA: £444 per week, pro rata (term-time only)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only
- Excellent potential for teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
