Ribbons & Reeves are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and ambitious secondary school in North West London, seeking a Junior Administrator to join their fast-paced and high-performing school office.

This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity for an organised, resilient and personable Administrator who wants to feel valued and make a tangible contribution every day. The school offers a professional, driven environment where staff are supported, developed and trusted with responsibility.

The Role
As a Junior Administrator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the school office. This is a front-facing, varied position that suits someone confident communicating with pupils, staff, parents and visitors, and comfortable managing competing priorities.

You will work closely with the wider administrative team, supporting general office functions and ensuring the school operates smoothly on a daily basis. No two days are the same, and a proactive, hands-on approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact for visitors, telephone calls and enquiries
  • Liaising professionally with pupils, staff, parents and external stakeholders
  • Providing general administrative and clerical support across the school office
  • Supporting reprographics including printing, scanning and document distribution
  • Maintaining accurate digital and paper-based records
  • Assisting with routine data entry and office tasks
  • Supporting daily school operations and ad hoc administrative duties
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bright, reliable and highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a calm, professional manner
  • Resilient and able to work consistently in a busy environment
  • Comfortable working as part of a team while using initiative when required
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence using Excel
  • Logical thinker with good problem-solving skills
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience is desirable, but not essential

This school is known for its high standards, strong culture and commitment to staff development. Administrators are a valued part of the wider team, and hard work is recognised and supported.

Safeguarding
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
