A high-performing secondary school in Hackney is seeking a Head of Maths from September 2026. This is a permanent leadership opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher ready to take responsibility for curriculum design, staff development and sustained improvement across KS3–KS5. The role is suited to a strong middle leader with a clear record of driving attainment and leading teams effectively.

Mathematics outcomes are consistently strong, with GCSE results regularly above national averages and a high proportion of students achieving grades 7–9. A-Level Maths and Further Maths continue to see increasing uptake, supported by a structured curriculum focused on fluency, reasoning and exam application. Departmental systems are highly organised, with centralised planning, shared assessments and consistent moderation embedded across all key stages to ensure accuracy and progression.
