An inclusive school in Richmond are looking for caring and hardworking Autism Support Assistants, with previous experience supporting children with SEN.
As an Autism Support Assistant, you will be supporting pupils 1:1 in a mainstream school, working closely with the SENDCo and trained professionals.
Main responsibilities of an Autism Support Assistant…
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with children with ASC, autism, and ADHD
- Following the guidance of the SENDCO and SEN professionals to support pupils to excel
- Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development
What do I need to become an Autism Support Assistant?
- Obtained a degree in Psychology from a UK University
- Has previous experience and a passion for working with children
- Has excellent communication skills, patience and resilience
