A leading school in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding and Attendance Assistant to join their team. Starting immediately, this role plays a vital part in promoting high levels of student attendance and ensuring their safety, contributing to their personal and academic growth.

As a Safeguarding and Attendance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and tracking student attendance daily, identifying patterns, and addressing absenteeism issues promptly.
• Liaising with parents and guardians to discuss attendance and safeguarding concerns, offering support and working collaboratively to improve outcomes for students.
• Implementing strategies to encourage punctuality and regular attendance, while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding and student welfare.
• Collaborating with school staff, including pastoral teams, to address attendance-related issues and ensure safeguarding policies are upheld.
• Maintaining accurate attendance records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols, school policies, and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
• A proactive, empathetic approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and supporting student well-being.
