Psychology Graduate (SEND Teaching Assistant) – Mitcham

The ideal job role for aspiring SEND Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Child Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Occupational Psychologists, this SEND Teaching Assistant role will be based at a mainstream Secondary school with a high percentage of students with SEND and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.

 

This SEND Teaching Assistant role will see you specifically providing support to children who have been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. If gaining experience within these fields is what you have been seeking, this is most definitely the right role for you!

 

Psychology Graduate (SEND Teaching Assistant) – Mitcham

  • Psychology Graduate required for SEND Teaching Assistant role
  • Mainstream Secondary School with high percentages of SEND & SEMH
  • Long-term contract until July 2025 in the first instance
  • Opportunities for permanent contracts commencing September 2025.
  • Interviews and start dates available ASAP
  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEND & Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Offering in-class support and bespoke interventions
  • Supporting children aged between 11-16
  • £95-£100 per day | £480-£500 per week | Paid PAYE on a weekly basis

 

To be considered for this SEND Teaching Assistant role, you will need to be a Psychology Graduate who has obtained at least a 2:1 degree classification. Alongside this, you will need to demonstrate an impressive academic record at GCSE and A-Level.

 

You will need to be a calm and patient individual who can demonstrate a fierce passion for education and a deep-rooted belief that all children can succeed at school regardless of the barriers they might be facing.
